We’ll use the student’s current work to find the missing idea, practice it together, and build a way forward they can repeat without me.
Work through the class.
Bring homework, notes, corrections, or a problem set. We’ll focus on the reasoning and use the same language the class expects.
Prepare with a plan.
For a quiz or test, we’ll identify the problem types that matter, practice them deliberately, and make a realistic study plan.

I don’t want a student to leave with a page of copied steps. I want them to know why a method works, how to recognize when to use it, and what to try when they get stuck.

Still curious about how people learn.
I spent five years teaching math before moving into AI engineering. The work changed, but the part I enjoyed most about teaching stayed with me: finding the explanation that helps an idea finally land.
Students don’t all get stuck in the same place. I make room for questions, use concrete examples, and adjust the pace so we can understand the problem instead of rushing past it.
